This is an old mechanical arcade game from the pre-pong era! I remember playing similar target shooting games as a kid, at the boardwalk or Two Guys. Love how they jazzed it up with a campaign mode.

If you want subs then go for You Sink.

This game is very reminiscent to vintage periscope arcade games like "Sea Wolf" and "Sea Devil". The closest I've ever been to playing any of these was this game at Chuck E. Cheese's during the 90's called "Sub Patrol", which, after some research, didn't work exactly like the aforementioned titles did, but it still brought the same periscope/submarine experience, and playing Real Sea Battle brings me just a bit closer to what the other vintage periscope games were like, and then some...!
